You will participate in projects of the Diffusion Processes Group of the Laboratory for Waste Management (LES) dealing with experiments investigating coupled transport processes of cations and anions across porous membranes. You will perform experiments using radioisotopes or stable isotope ions apply different transport codes and perform a benchmarking compare the results of the simulations with the experimental data
You are studying chemistry, physics, natural or environmental sciences (minimum 5 semesters)
You are familiar with the fundamentals of solute transport and chemical equilibrium reactions in heterogeneous systems (e.g. sorption)
You have some experiences with performing chemical work in a laboratory (work experience with radioisotopes not required).

This internship position is limited to three months. Preferably starting in September 2017.
