NaKo x VIAL x NHWZ: Vegi Wurst Competition

Im Ramen der diesjährigen Nachhaltigkeitswoche Zürich organisiert die NaKo zusammen mit dem Vial eine “Vegi Wurst Competition”! Lasst eurer Kreativität freien Lauf und kreiert eure eigene vegane Wurst. Wird euer Meisterwerk die Jury überzeugen? Gemeinsam probieren wir uns durch die verschiedenen Kreationen und verbringen einen netten Abend miteinander. Wir freuen uns auf euch!

*Rules:*

1. *Vegan Sausage Filling* Ensure that all ingredients are plant-based.
2. *Texture Requirements*
The filling must be neither too runny nor too crumbly. The texture should allow the mixture to be easily pressed into a synthetic casing without leaking or falling apart.
3. *Ingredient List*
We have a few spices and vegetables from food sharing available (mushrooms, carrots, spinach, courgette, ginger, asparagus, spring onion, broccoli, cauliflower, salad). Additionally, you can purchase the ingredients yourself, but please keep the receipt for reimbursement. We can reimburse you a minimum value of 12 CHF (potentially more depending on the number of teams)

*Competition Day – Program*

*16:00 PM: Preparation*
At this time, we will chop, mix, stuff the sausages into casings, and start pan-frying them.

*18:00 PM: Dinner & Tasting*
Join us for a free dinner! Whether you’ve made your own sausage or not, everyone is invited to taste all the sausages, along with a variety of veggies and some cherry crumble as dessert

*18:45 PM: Winner Announcement*
The winners will be announced by both the jury and the audience. Let’s find out who made the tastiest vegan sausage!
